About
Stephanie D. Sanders is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the originator of The F.I.L.T.E.R. Approach: Social Communication Skills for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She began her career as an SLP in Brevard County Schools (Florida) in 1996.
In addition to working as an SLP in the public school system for 17 years, she has 6 years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation and currently provides teletherapy. Stephanie graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders (1996) and a Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders (2000). She and her husband reside in Florida with their two children.
