Pam Plank

Pam graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, She went on to receive her Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Speech Language Pathology. Pam has practiced as an SLP in Sarasota since 1994 in both school and clinical settings. She has presented at several workshops in the state including Weekend with the Experts in a collaborative project with USF. She has also presented at the Assistive Technology Industry Association’s (ATIA) national conference in Orlando on Core Fusion a collaboration of core vocabulary, activity specific vocabulary and light technology. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages, including those with severe and profound disabilities. In 2009 she was named “Teacher of the Year” at Oak Park School and received honorable mention for the district’s elementary schools.

Pam continues to improve her knowledge and skill level through continuing education and is passionate about providing quality therapy and educational programming to all children in need. Pam has received training in PROMPT, Picture Exchange Communication Systems, Proloquo2go, Sensory Processing, Behavioral Interventions, and Autism Spectrum disorders. She is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
